Mithun Bawankar joins AOC India

AOC announced the appointment of Mithun Bawankar as New Business Development Manager India. Mithun will be responsible for creating new business opportunities for AOC, closely working together with customers in India. Mithun will report directly to Rakesh Pandita, Business Head India & Middle East. Mithun is coming from the composites industry, knowing very well Unsaturated Polyester and Vinyl Ester resins, as well as their key applications and transformation processes (e.g. SMC and BMC, CIPP/ Relining). As Sales Manager he has been responsible for key account management and business development in multiple composites market segments, including public transportation, automotive, building & construction, wind, infrastructure, and electrical. Before becoming active in composites, Mithun worked for BASF and Axalta, bringing with him over 15 years of industry knowledge and experience.
