Safran group opens unit in Kerala

Safran Group, the French company operating in aerospace and defence sector has opened a unit in Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala Industries Minister Mr. P Rajeev inaugurated the test centre for aerospace and defence products set up near Technopark

Safran provides services in the fields of satellite communication and satellite tracking, along with manufacturing critical machinery for fighter aircraft, rockets and missiles.

According to Mr. P Rajeev, the first unit near Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram will serve as a test center for cutting-edge aerospace & defence products with plans to expand into the Asia Pacific, Kerala’s aerospace industry is booming
